About

Thanks for coming by to check out a bit more about the team behind Frontpacking Adventures. We love to travel, try new experiences and share what we’ve found and learned with others. Hopefully this gives you a little insight into who we are…

Steve

I’m in my (mid) 20s and I was born in Bristol, England. I love travelling the world, as well as exploring the beauty that the UK has to offer! Not only do I enjoy seeing the world, but also cramming in any activity possible along the way. I get bored easily…

From as young as I can remember, I’ve loved packing my bags, grabbing the passport and jetting off. I do this to not only to immerse myself in different cultures, but to also experience various communities and environments. What started as family holidays in the sun has developed into more dedicated ‘travelling’, as I look to further myself and learn more about the world we live in.

When I was younger, I toyed with the idea of becoming a sports journalist, due to my love of writing. Now with this blog I can combine my passions of writing, travel and photography/filming altogether, whilst hopefully inspiring others to get out and explore.

“Travel makes one modest, you see what a tiny place you occupy in the world”

Gustave Flaubert, French novelist, 1821-1880

As time passes, we will be hopefully expanding and having guest writers. Whether it’s family, friends or complete strangers, some of our posts will be written by other people who share our love of adventure.

Be sure to check back as new posts come in; as the team grows, so will this page!
